A Fine Line by MercyAnn Summers
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Spicy! That is the best way to describe MercyAnne Summers’ A Fine Line. I will start by admitting that I did not read the first 2 books. I did not realize it was a series until I started reading and felt like I was missing some background info. The author says this book can be read as a stand alone. I agree, but being who I am, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the first 2 so I could be more invested in the characters. I plan to go back and read the first two as this one was so good.
Tony and Carolina are enemies from a previous book. Tony wants badly to kill her as revenge for a wrong he believes she has done him, but has promised his friends and mafia family he will not kill her though. What he did not promise is that he would not torment her. As Tony comes to learn more about Caroline and her motives, he realizes there may be a good reason behind the bad deeds she has performed.
When these two characters collide it is super hot. I will warn that there may be triggers for some readers. I will say that I recommend A Fine Line for those who like: enemies to lovers, mafia, revenge, and dark romances.
I appreciate the opportunity to read this book as an ARC. All of my opinions are 100% my own.
