When Hearts Ignite by Victoria Lum

Oh my….where do I start with this book? I will start by saying this is my first Victoria Lum read, but it won’t be my last. I loved her style of writing and the way she switched POV on each chapter(I love to know what everyone is thinking:)

I will say that When Hearts Ignite was full of plot twists. More so than your average romance. I enjoyed most of them…

Steven Kingsley is a successful Billionaire who works on Wall Street. He has sworn off love and uses a service whenever an “itch” arises. He is currently trying to save his fathers failing company. In comes Grace, his new intern and turns his world upside down. She has grown up opposite of the way Steven did. She grew up with her single mom and sister very poor in the Bronx. She grew up in a tight knit family and feels as if she needs to prove she is worthy to the world. The one thing she does not want to do is sleep her way to the top. This complicates things when she starts feeling attracted to her new boss.

As I said, the book is full of twists and turns. They come together, they fall apart. i suggest this read for anyone who loves a good romance and a brooding billionaire.
