Protect Your Queen by Molly Briar
My rating: 4 of 5 stars and 2 of 5 Spicy rating
I will start by saying that this is my first Molly Briar book. I enjoyed it very much. She has a way of writing that makes the reader just ease into the story and become one with the characters. That being said, the book gave off huge “The Bodyguard”vibes. (Not that that is a bad thing)
Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Jestiny appears to be your average spoiler, arrogant pop star. Always in the public eye, bubblegum music, and a pain in the rear. Chris is brought in to protect her from threats she has been receiving. Both are against the assignment from the start. After Chris get’s a glimpse of the true musician and her heart underneath, he begins to think he may have had her all wrong.
I give this book a spice level of 2 out of 5. It is a great slow burn romance that almost anyone who likes a good romance would like. Give it a read! I want to thank Molly Briar and The Nerdy Babes Arc Readers for a chance to receive a free copy for review.
